The Burlington Housing Authority is Vermont's oldest and largest municipally-based housing authority. Created in 1961, BHA has been providing affordable housing for forty years to individuals and families in the City of Burlington and surrounding communities.

We manage over 600 affordable apartments and provide rental assistance to over 1,700 families living in our jurisdiction, which is the City of Burlington and a number of surrounding communities.
Our resident services programs help families we assist in maintaining their housing, achieving economic self sufficiency and working toward homeownership.
