Services

As a resident of one of BHA's three high rises for seniors and people with disabilities, you and your family are eligible for FREE services. BHA offers two in-house programs that may be of assistance to you. We employ a full-time Resident Services Coordinator who is available to assist you in locating needed services in the community and to help you obtain those services. We also have part-time nursing staff available through our Wellness programs to assist you with your healthcare needs.

What the Resident Services Coordinator can do for you.

• Connect residents with community resources and services.
• Assist with benefit paperwork and other entitlement programs.
• Create, develop and implement collaborations with on-site staff, state and community agencies.
• Act as liaison between residents, managers and BHA administrative staff.
• Establish educational and recreational programming and social events.
• Coordinate activities with tenant organizations.
• Provide crisis intervention.

Wellness Program

The Wellness Program is staffed by two part-time nurses who work on-site in each building. Through this program, we can provide healthcare services and education to our residents. These services are not meant to replace your own doctor. Instead we can work with your doctor's office to help them provide the best care for you. All services are confidential. Medical records are kept separate from BHA tenant files and BHA staff does not have access to them. For more information about any of these programs, please contact:

Costs

• Accessing BHA Resident Service Coordination is FREE for residents, families and Community Service Providers.
• All healthcare services and educational opportunities provided through the Wellness projects are also FREE.
• There is a suggested donation of five dollars for foot care. This is not a required fee.
