TIMELY MONTHLY RENT PAYMENTS

You are guaranteed prompt monthly payment of a substantial portion of the rent by BHA, directly deposited in your bank account. Should the family experience a loss of income, BHA will normally pick up the difference and may even pay the full contract rent directly to you.

ABUNDANCE OF PARTICIPANTS
New participants to the Section 8 program are actively looking for good landlords and quality units. You can save money on advertising by working with us. We can provide you with referrals and, if we have the information, the previous two landlords of a prospective Section 8 participant.

You can use your own selection criteria when screening an applicant.

MINIMAL PAPERWORK
We recommend that you use your own lease, since it is tailored to your management requirements. We will prepare the HUD paperwork that is required. You and the tenant simply sign the forms to initiate payments.

UPKEEP OF PROPERTY
Since your property will be inspected initially and annually, you will always know the condition of your property and have independent confirmation by us that it meets Housing Quality Standards. This, coupled with your own periodic checks, will enable you to ensure that your property is well maintained.

SUPPORT SERVICES
BHA staff is available to assist you in resolving any tenancy problems that arise.
